About the Artist

John Green
‘Capturing the Character’
There is nothing quite as special as the commissioned bespoke painting, which captures the character of the subject of your choice in a way that no other medium can aspire too.
My personalised approach to your wishes results in a timeless gift that you will treasure forever.
As a bespoke portrait artist, my work in fine art has been undertaken for many customers the length and breadth of the UK, resulting in many commissioned works that now grace the walls of my client’s homes and premises.
The artist graduated with a Batchelor’s Degree in Scientific and Natural History Illustration from the Blackpool and Fylde college, and in addition to working as a privately commissioned fine artist, is also a member of The Society of Equestrian Artists as well as being a member of the National Acrylic Painter’s Association.
Please contact me to discuss your requirements further, and I would be delighted to accommodate your wishes
…So how do I commission my own portrait?
Following your initial contact, we will discuss your finer requirements for your portrait, such as size, composition, and such like. At this stage a fifty pound deposit would be required ( non refundable ) payable by cheque or bank transfer upon which I shall issue you with a receipt, in addition to your photo(s) of the subject, which can be taken by the artist upon request. Photography by the artist would be free within a thirty mile radius, after which an additional 15 percent would be payable, in relation to the price of the commissioned painting(s).
When the work is completed, it will be forwarded to you via e mail for your viewing. Upon your final approval, the remaining balance would then be due. Following receipt of cleared funds, your work will be forwarded to you via recorded delivery in a safe and timely manner.
A timeframe of 3 to four weeks would be required for completion of commissioned work ( dependent on current workload ), however individual deadlines can be met upon request.
